We bought 5 different types of treats. We loved 2 out of 3! And the third one wasn't bad, just didn't have any flavor, like none at all (Coconut Cream). We loved this dessert with tons of filling in it, can't remember what it was called and we loved the almond cookies too. I love that everything is individually wrapped! We'll definitely be back!

Subject: Complaint About Poor Customer Service at Sunmerry Bakery Dear Sunmerry Bakery Management, I would like to file a complaint regarding a very unpleasant experience I had today at your store. I was visiting the bakery with my child and had already been waiting in a long line to purchase bread. While I was waiting, another customer told me that there was another counter available that could help me check out faster. I walked over to that counter, but the employee there left the station and was not available to assist me. I then returned to the original line where I had already been waiting. However, the employee at that counter told me that I needed to go back and wait in line again, insisting that I had not been waiting before. I explained multiple times that I had already been waiting in line, and only stepped away because another customer directed me to the other counter. Despite my explanation, the employee continued to speak to me rudely and refused to help me check out. The attitude and treatment I received were very upsetting and disrespectful, especially while I was there with my child. I understand that stores can become busy, but customers should still be treat

This Sunmerry is located inside the Santa Anita Mall, which makes it a convenient stop when I'm out shopping. They offer all kinds of Asian breads, donuts, bagels, and cakes. They also have boba teas and my favorite--bubble waffles. The last time I was here, after purchasing a few items, I asked for a cup of water. The staff member said there would be a $0.50 charge for the cup. I hesitated because I didn't expect to have to pay for it, but in the end, he gave me one for free. That was very nice of him. For others, just keep in mind that they do charge for the cup if you ask for water. Currently, they're running a promo for $1 egg tarts, which is a great deal. So if you need a break from shopping, this is a nice spot to grab a quick boba fix and a sweet treat.

Really nice bakery that has a huge selection of delicious and affordable pastries. They are all individually bagged for convenience and there are lots of sweet and savory options. They also have drinks, cakes, and Melo Melo jelly as well.

Stopped in to try the cream puffs. The crème brûlée had the burnt sugar and a velvet custard inside. It was good but the puff pastry was a strange texture. We tried the regular flavor chocolate with cocoa nibs and a Boston cream pie looking one. It was a little pricey but okay. Maybe check it out they have lots of yummy looking treats. The place was clean and staff were nice.
